Country inhabited by approximately 4 million Irishmen and at least twice as much of sheep. Lately, Ireland became very popular earning destination. According to the Irish Independent there were about 400 thousands Poles on the “green island” in summer 2005 and 80 thousands are estimated to stay there permanently. There were few reasons for that popularity. Firstly, borders were opened in May 2004 when Poland joined the European Union. Secondly, Great Britain started to be overpopulated by Polish residents.

Probably a magnificent Irish culture derived from Celtic roots attracted many people as well. Openness, understanding and willingness to help foreigners were felt by many.  The reason for that is simple; many years ago they used to leave their country to work in England, Australia or USA, as we do nowadays.
